Nearly 2 Weeks Old

Well, McKenna is nearly two weeks old now and sadly it's almost time for dad to go back to work. Just when we think we're getting the sleeping pattern down. Keeping our fingers crossed on that one. She seems to have changed so much in these first two weeks. Looking around so much more, concentrating on faces and voices, it's all so wonderful. Enjoying every moment of it.

Day 1

Well, after a very long day of labor, contractions starting at 2am on Friday morning (1/15/2010), getting to the hospital at 7:30am, dialated to 2cm, then fully dialated at about midnight, starting to push at around 1:30am on Saturday (1/16/2010), McKenna Reese Cassell graced us with her presence at 3:45am. Weighing in at 7lbs 15oz., and 20 1/2 inches long, she's a beautiful baby girl.
