Christmas - January

Well unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of McKenna opening presents since we got video of the many presents that she got to open. Hopefully I'll figure out how to get the videos off of the camera soon so that we can get them posted as well. Because of the 50+ degree weather that we had one weekend McKenna enjoyed a ride around the block in her new car and then because of the snow that we got this weekend, she got to enjoy some sleigh riding in her new sled. During Christmas vacation she also got to spend a day with her Great, great Aunt Iola and Great, great uncle Dale while we were in Illinois. Hopefully by this time next weekend we'll be posting pictures of McKenna opening presents and eating cake at her and cousin Kenidy's 1st Birthday Party! I can't believe this unbelievable, wonderful year has flown by so quickly.

December 2010

Hope everyone is ready for a wonderful Christmas. McKenna is starting to really get into opening her early Christmas presents. She has taken a few steps in the last couple weeks. I think five steps at one time is her personal best, that we did record but unfortunately have not yet figured out how to get the video loaded onto the computer. McKenna's personality is definitely growing as fast as she is, which most of the time is very cool and sometimes... well, we'll have to learn to deal with that as she gets older, haha. Anyway, hope that you all enjoy the pictures and that we get to see you soon. If not have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanksgiving 2010

Okay, as always, it's been too long since I've updated the blog. However, this time I'm blaming it on the computer crashing. Thankfully, Grandpa and Grandma Davis came through with a SWEET Christmas present early, so we're able to update now.
Most of the pictures attached are of Thanksgiving weekend. McKenna is 10 months old now and just continues to grow mentally and physically. She's such a blessing and brings so much joy to our lives. Thanks to all of you for your patience, support and love.

October - 9 Months Old

I know it has been waaaayyy too long since I've updated the blog. I'm sorry, it was a very busy September and we're just now starting to settle down a little bit. McKenna has grown so much over the past two months, she's crawling all over like a champ, pulling herself up with no problem, doing good giving up her binky, and has the best personality in the world. Rest in peace, Grandpa Geyer, you will be greatly missed.

July-August 2010

Once again, sadly, it's been another month since I've last updated the blog. It's flown by, that's for sure. McKenna has developed so much over the last month. She now eats everything, nearly by herself... well at least she wants to. She can eat with a fork, as long as Mommy stabs the food first and catches the fork after McKenna tosses it away. She loves eating peas, crackers, cereal, and well most things she can get her hands by herself, which leads to a few messes but nothing too bad and the mess doesn't compare to how cute it is. There's some pictures of McKenna and her cousin Kenidy, playing at Nana and Grandpa's.
Thanks again for your patience and we appreciate you all being there for us.

June & July Adventures

Again, it's been way too long since we updated the blog. It's been an extremely busy couple of weeks. Since we last updated the blog, McKenna has grown so much, she is now saying "momma" or "mommmommmama" or some version thereof. She's able to sit up by herself for quite some time without tipping over and is so much more playful and aware of everything. The pictures are from Phil & Kelly Cole's wedding, time at the lake and the pool, the Dormont Dash (5k Race), visits from Grandpa and Grandma Davis and a visit to Pocahontas County to see Nana and Grandpa and cousin Hunter.

The following is directly from McKenna:
